Campus Norrköping is located in a scenic and unique location in the middle of the city, located in a former industrial landscape by Motala Ström. The renovated factory buildings offer modern teaching and research facilities, while the current creates a relaxing environment. The proximity to the city centre makes it easy to take part in Norrköping's cultural and entertainment life. The area and properties
Several buildings on Campus Norrköping are converted industrial structures, such as Kåkenhus from the late 19th century. A bridge over the Motala River links Kåkenhus with Kopparhammaren 6, creating a natural path within the urban environment. Kopparhammaren 6 has been transformed into a public space for visualization and new media, as well as a research center.
The architecture of Täppan, from the 2000s, adds a modern touch, and a footbridge between Täppan and Kåkenhus allows visitors to move between buildings from different centuries. The combination of old and new architecture gives the area a unique silhouette and has integrated the campus into the cityscape.
Linköping University's vision is to make Campus Norrköping Sweden's most beautiful campus.
